This is the Euron-Roadmap Wiki-page. Its purpose is to provide a platform for co-authoring the next Euron-Roadmap.
Citing from the EURON2-Proposal (see
http://wwwiaim.ira.uka.de/euron/documents/proposal.pdf ), page 34, the purpose of the of the roadmap activity is as follows:
'The roadmap activity will prepare a new research roadmap for Europe in reaction to the
sponsored IPs and as a follow-up to EURON-1 activities. The main objective is to provide a condensed
roadmap with major directions. The roadmap document will be a synthesis from the integrated projects
and other recent robotics proposals that reflect the current thinking on issues in robotics across Europe.
During the first six months of the programme a joint meeting on road-mapping will be convened with
the integrated projects. Major issues in terms of research will be identified. Over the next six months
a detailed inventory of research strategies will be undertaken. From the identified research issues and
inventory of research strategies a first roadmap will be prepared before month 18. The activity is
implemented in work package 1.'

Every registered user can contribute to the sections that can be acessed via the sidebar menu to the left.

Conventions
Text from the old Roadmap is (partially) included in the wiki-pages. These parts are
in red (like this paragraph) and are not thought to appear in the final version of the EURON2-Roadmap.
